About N1 Gallery & The Artist

A Space for the Forgotten, and Expression

Welcome to N1 Gallery — a home for rediscovering forgotten women artists and for experiencing bold, contemporary expression.

This site is both a tribute and a response: a place where stories long buried in the margins of art history are brought back into the light, and where my own art lives in conversation with theirs.

The Mission

At N1 Gallery, I write to reclaim.
My focus is on brilliant but overlooked women artists — those whose names were nearly erased despite their talent, innovation, and perseverance. Each article is a blend of biography, research, and historical reflection designed to educate, inspire, and challenge the canon.

In recovering their legacies, I also aim to shine a light on the structures that silenced them — and still silence others today.

The Artist Behind the Gallery

As an artist, my practice is deeply personal and rooted in the very themes I explore in my writing: visibility, memory, and resilience.

My style merges abstract cubism, modern expressionism, and neo-cubism — often through bold forms, vivid contrasts, and emotional storytelling. Each painting is an exploration of identity, tension, and the quiet power of the overlooked.

Whether through brushstrokes or essays, I am telling stories that ask:
Who gets remembered? Who gets forgotten? And how do we reclaim space?
