Description
Sisyphus was condemned to roll a heavy rock up a hill in Hades after his deathSisyphus was a character from Greek mythology who was punished by being forced to roll a heavy rock up a hill in the underworld after his death. However, the rock would always roll back down just before reaching the top, so he could never complete the task. This punishment is often used as a metaphor for an endless and futile task or a situation where success is impossible to achieve.. However, the rock would always roll back down before reaching the top, so he could never finish his task, the idea of hell, or just a point of view.
